One year ago Barack Obama became the 44th President of the United States. He took office and began implementing his agenda of “change.” This agenda could be summarized as: “Government taking control.”
This year we have a chance to fix what is broken, stop massive government spending, and put an end to a Washington that is only interested in helping Washington.
This year is not about Illinois or Massachusetts. It is notabout Florida or California. This year is about taking our liberty back from a government that is taking it away through rapid growth. It is about taking our tax dollars back from a government that thinks it can spend them better than we can. It is about taking our voices back from the Washington establishment that believes it can speak on our behalf better than we can speak for ourselves. 2010 is the year Conservatives take it back.
Here in Illinois we have the chance to put a Conservative in Barack Obama’s senate seat. A Conservative once held the seat until Obama took it in 2004. In 2010 we can take it back, and we can take it back with a Conservative candidate.
On February 2nd Illinois has the opportunity to tell America that the Conservative movement is real. We have the chance to show the country, that when we join together, there are no races we cannot win and that we are ready for the America our founding fathers envisioned for us. Together Conservatives can fix this country, but to do it we must have Conservative candidates on the ballot in November. We do not need any more career politicians on our ballots, let alone in Washington.
In 2010 Conservatives must not stop until we have reached the finish line of November 2nd. Every race matters and every vote is crucial. I am asking everyone to spread the message about my race in Illinois. I am running against the establishment pick, a “Republican” who voted for bank bailouts, cap and trade, and millions in earmarks for his campaign donors. We cannot forget his votes for partial birth abortions and his “F” rating from the NRA.
Spread the word that in Illinois and in America, the time has come for us to take it back.
